Sutton Indoor Bowling Club
The Sutton Indoor Bowling Club's main winter programme runs from 
1 October to the 30 April. There is also a limited indoor bowling programme during the summer months. The Club has six rinks on a Greenguage carpet. Each rink is 36.6 metres long and 4.5 metres wide. It has a raised balcony and up-to-date lighting that provide very good viewing for those watching bowls play.


Facilities at the Club are excellent, with modern changing rooms, modern toilets, and modern facilities for the disabled. There is ample car parking with dedicated spaces for wheelchair users, and others who are registered disabled.


The Club caters for all ages and standards of bowling ranging from friendly matches and internal leagues to playing in national and county competitions. Members are encouraged to bring their children and/or grandchildren aged between eight and 18 to play between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Saturdays for which their is a nominal charge of £1.  



The subscription fee for the 2009/2010 season is £150 that can be paid by direct debit in one transaction, or it can be spread over the seven months for which there is a £5 administrative charge. Green fees are £1.90 for each two-hour session. If rinks are not being used in the evenings then members can use them free of charge for practice and roll ups. It is important to note that roll up rinks cannot be pre-booked. 


The Club has excellent bar and restaurant facilties which caters for members and visitors alike. Both provide support for the many social events arranged for members.

OPEN INDOOR BOWLING TOURNAMENT EASTER SUNDAY 2010


Sutton Bowling Club's Annual Easter Sunday Open 4s Tournament that has been running very successfully for the past 14 years will take place Sunday 4 April 2010. Bowling will commence at 9.30am for £500 prize money. Teams, comprising mixed, all-female or all-male fours will be placed in four sections of five teams. All teams will play five games of 45 minutes duration. Section winners will go through to the final stages, and there will be a play off for third and fourth places.  Dress code - whites.

The 2009 winners were a Sutton team comprising Neil Asten (lead), Robert Wharf (two), Keith Adams (three) and Steve Shanley (skip). The winning team in 2008 was Neil Asten (Sutton, lead), James Shillingford (Wey Valley, two), Mike McDonagh (Sutton, three) and Gareth McDonagh (Wey Valley, skip).
