On Tuesday 3rd march the Sutton Bowling Club darts team held a marathon in support of Macmillan Cancer Trust.

The marathon started at 9am and was continuous until the target of 100,000 points was finally reached at 6.55 pm.  Several high scoring throws were made but this was more about collective endurance rather than individual brilliance.  Ten hours,  thousands of throws, two maximums and countless treble 20’s.  

So far the marathon has raised £767.59 for Macmillan Cancer Trust with people still able to donate.  A great initiative organised and managed by  Adam Taylor and Paul Colvin.
