The Sutton 4 rink men’s team won against Torbay on Saturday 10th February 75 – 61 played over 21 ends. The match was played at Moonfleet 2000 IBC in Weymouth which meant an early start and a late journey home.
Several Sutton members came to support the team and some also volunteered to drive players. Sutton were behind in the early stages of the match, but fought back with the help of the very vocal group of Sutton supporters. In the last few ends, Sutton managed to pull ahead and all rinks contributed to a great win.
The National Final will be played against Nottingham & District on Saturday 13th April at Nottingham IBC.
