On Sunday 13th July, Sutton Bowling Club held a bowling match in honour of the Club President, John Cocoracchio. John was coming to the end of his 2 year term in office, representing the Club on official occasions. Before the match commenced, club member Theo Theodoris the Magician, performed a magnificent magic trick for the members. 

On this glorious summer day, 48 members took part in the match. At the end of the match, 12 guests joined the bowlers to enjoy a delicious meal in our club house restaurant. After the meal, John handed over the Presidency to Maureen Vandrau who has bowled at Sutton Bowling Club for over 30 years and is the Club representative with Surrey Bowls.

The Club’s Chairman, Kevin Gawne thanked John for his excellent service and offered congratulations and best wishes to Maureen on the commencement of her post as our new Club President.
