Sutton BC played Malden Manor BC hosted by Cheam BC on Sunday 17th August.

The RDML Peter Ungless Shield is for 2 mixed rinks of four players and run as a knockout competition between the clubs playing in the RDML mixed league.

After a shaky start Sutton managed a convincing win of 47 – 26 in a hard fought game.

The Sutton teams were:
David Williams, Terri Tuvey, Chris Tuvey , Jan Sharp, Graham White, Gail Aspeling, Maureen Vandrau (sub for Di Double) and Martin Bailey.

This is the 3rd successive year that Sutton has won this competition.
